Controcyst is a sterile solution for intravesical use that acts by temporarily restoring the glycosaminoglycan (GAG) layer of the bladder. It helps to combat painful symptoms and reduce urinary frequency and urgency. Indicated in the management of painful symptoms associated with forms of chronic urothelial inflammation and in the management of recurrent non-bacterial cystitis.
Indicated for pelvic pain syndrome, including that induced by radiotherapy or chemotherapy treatments. The formulation combines Regenkjn (colostrum-based) and chondroitin sulphate: the immune factors in colostrum counteract inflammation and protect the lesion microenvironment, whilst chondroitin sulphate contributes to the restoration of the urothelial GAG-layer. The pH 7 counteracts bladder acidity associated with painful symptoms.
- Mechanism: GAG-layer restoration, inflammation modulation, thixotropic polymer that improves adhesion to the urothelium.
- Urogeneration 3.0 Protocol: 1 instillation/week in the first month, 1 every 15 days for the following 3 months, then 1 per month as maintenance (24–36 months).
